Answer Key/Rubric

Student identifies different medium used to present a particular topic or idea. These mediums include, but are not limited to, print or digital texts, video, or multimedia presentations.
Student identifies the advantages and disadvantages of various mediums used to present information on a particular topic or idea. The advantages and disadvantages identified include, but are not limited to, the impact of various mediums on the purpose and perspective of an author, and how this impacts the presentation of a particular topic or idea.
For each comparison, acceptable responses may include, but are not limited to:

The use of language, image, or sound to communicate a message or idea
The utility of the selected medium to communicate a message or idea
The relationship between the selected medium and an intended audience
The impact of the message or idea on the intended audience
