Objectives

In this unit, students learn from other inventors how to promote critical thinking and solve a self-selected problem in their life. Students will:

  • apply the use of models as useful simplifications of objects or processes.

  • recognize and use the technological design process to solve problems.

  • identify interrelationships among technology, people, and their world.

  • apply the technological design process to solve a simple problem.

  • identify and distinguish between human needs and wants.
