Objectives

In this unit, students will experience varied opportunities to observe and describe sound, manipulate the sounds of objects, and communicate their observations. Students will:

  • know and understand that force causes sound.

  • identify different types of sounds.

  • describe sounds as being high or low, loud or soft.

  • design instruments that will produce sounds.
