Objectives

In this unit, students in Kindergarten begin looking at the world around them. They begin to investigate what the world is made of. Students will:

  • identify landforms found on earth.

  • classify landforms found on earth.

  • identify material found on earth.

  1. examine earth material.
  2. use their senses to observe and describe material found on earth.
  3. investigate how rocks break down.
  4. classify materials gathered from the schoolyard.
