Description

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) provides television and radio programming to the United Kindom and to countries in Europe and across the world. As a part of their educational programming, they offer services for language-learners. Visitors to the site can learn essential vocabulary and phrases in French, and can participate in a collection of online courses. The site contains a great deal of cultural and travel information about French-speaking countries in Europe. Visitors also have access to BBC radio and television programming in French.

GCSE stands for General Certificate of Secondary Education, and is a national school examination in the United Kingdom. It is roughly the equivalent to an American high school diploma. The GCSE Bitesize site is a review site for students preparing for the national exams. At present there is a GCSE site for Spanish, French, and German language learners.
