- Identify sun as the source responsible for the water cycle
- Sequence pictures depicting the stages of the water cycle\
- Illustrate the stages of the water cycle (e.g. evaporation, condensation, precipitation)
Supportive Practices
The adult will:
- Model stages of a water cycle
- Define and discuss vocabulary related to water cycle
- Provide inquiry time for exploration
- Ask open ended questions to encourage further investigation
- Facilitate a discussion of students’ findings from investigations
- Provide literature connections (e.g. non-fiction and fiction)
