Description
This interactive web-based resource challenges students to find all of the multiples for a number on Pascal's Triangle.
Pascal's Triangle is a triangle of numbers, each new number being the sum of the two above it. (It was actually first discovered by Zhu Shijie, a Chinese mathematician from the fourteenth century. Pascal described the triangle three hundred years later.) Students can use this activity to:
- practice multiplication skills
- practice pattern recognition skills
- explore Pascal's triangle
- introduce the concept of fractals
The following resource is available to help guide the students' investigations.
