3. Over the summer Jennifer earned $125 doing chores in her neighborhood.  He older brother worked at a hot dog stand over the summer and made 3 times that amount.  Write an equation and solve it find out how much her older brother made over the summer.

4. During a science lab you were studying different kinds of rocks.  In class you had 5 bags that each contained 28 rocks.  Fill out the diagram below, then write and solve an equation to find out how many rocks were in the bags all together.

5. Write a statement represented by the model below.  Explain your answer.
