Continuum of Activities

The list below represents a continuum of activities: resources categorized by Standard/Eligible Content that teachers may use to move students toward proficiency. Using LEA curriculum and available materials and resources, teachers can customize the activity statements/questions for classroom use.

  1. Display the following number values on a number line.

  2. Display the following values on a line plot.  The numbers represent the amount of time in minutes that study spend each night watching TV.
  1. Draw a box and whisker plot with the values in the chart below.  Identify the minimum, maximum, median, first and third quartiles.
  1. Draw a histogram to match the test scores recorded in the table below, breaking up the scores by intervals of 10.
  1. Given the data in the chart, fill in the frequency table.  Then create a histogram to display the data.
