New Driver Education Resources Available to Support Student Success

4/7/2026

We are pleased to share that the CHOP Teen Driving Plan and the IUP Perceptual Driving Program are now available in the Shared Content Folder in the Driver Education Learning Community for your use.

The CHOP Teen Driving Plan is an interactive, web-based resource designed to support structured and effective supervision of student driving practice. It offers practical tools that can help reinforce safe driving habits beyond the classroom and engage parents/guardians as active partners in the learning process.

The IUP Perceptual Driving Program focuses on building critical visual and cognitive skills, helping students learn how to identify, evaluate, and respond to real-world traffic situations. By strengthening these foundational skills early, students are better prepared to apply them across a wide range of driving environments.

Incorporating these programs into your instruction can enhance student engagement, strengthen skill development, and provide a more comprehensive approach to preparing novice drivers for the road.

We encourage you to explore these resources and consider how they can complement and strengthen your existing curriculum.

Thank you for your continued commitment to developing safe, skilled drivers.
