Strategies to Integrate Data Science Into K-8 Classrooms

This session is designed to help teachers learn to incorporate data science into everyday lessons. We will focus on data habits of minds that students need to develop when working with data in any discipline. After discussing why data literacy matters, we will work through the data investigation cycle (ask statistical questions, collect and understand data, analyze data & interpret and communicate data) as we explore various easy to incorporate data-based classroom activities.
